The palm tree transplant


One of the palms was looking very sorry for itself in its tin pot, so a transplant into the garden was required.

After five years in the same pot, this turned out to be a trickier exercise than I had imagined, and it ended up being something like opening a giant can of sardines.

We got there in the end though, and the pal  seems all the more happy for it.
