Barcelona: The wooden conservatory
If you came here via my openzedoor blog you might know I went to Barcelona a couple of weeks back.
One day we stumbled upon this kind of wooden slatted conservatory in the Parc de la Ciutadella, which contained some plants of the exotic nature I tend to favour.
Not sure what purpose the slats served, other than to protect the plants from the glare of the sun and perhaps the birds.
Still, it was a nice tranquil place, and a damn sight more interesting than the Natural History Museum it was attached to.
