New beginnings, new look

That old site just wasn't going to do. It was ten years old for crying out loud, and it looked it.

A remarkably smooth re-skin later and here we are, looking all slick and refreshed just like the patio.  You'll still have the same content and the same older content which makes up the majority of this blog at the moment, so all good.

And here is a picture of an oak seedling that I pulled out of one of the trunk of one of the tree ferns. It was never going to end well with it being there, and I can only imagine how it got there in the first place.

There is an oak tree nearby, but it's only small and not in range of drop so I assume the placement of this particular acorn was squirrel assisted, the little blighters!
