The goddess of the bushes

We brought our new garden ornament home the other week and it already feels like she's occupied her spot between the bamboo and the forsythia since the time of the Aztecs.

What's more, she seems to have brought with her an air of calm and serenity that makes sitting on the patio an altogether more pleasant experience.

And now the Buddha now has something to smile about.

This is a picture of her in the evening, with the spotlight trained on her. It is the only picture I have of her before The Accident.
